Elderberry is one of the darkest fruits on earth, and the color is the point. That deep purple-black comes from anthocyanins — powerful antioxidants in the same family that makes blueberries worth eating, except elderberry is far denser in them. It's been a staple of the traditional winter cupboard in every culture that has elder trees growing nearby.
Ours is heat-treated for safety, the way every traditional elderberry preparation has been done for centuries. Deep purple, tart, closer to blackcurrant than anything medicinal. Reach for it when the season turns.
Ingredients: Wildcrafted sea moss, elderberry, lemon, lime, spring water
How to use: Take 1-2 tablespoons daily during the season you need it. Add to smoothies, tea, or take it straight. Refrigerate on arrival and use within 3-4 weeks. Freezes for up to 6 months. Shake well and allow 12 hours to thicken after delivery.
